Norb was born in Dorchester on June 10, 1928, the son of Michael and Amelia (Lang) Geiger. He attended St. Louis Catholic School in Dorchester. Norb was united in marriage to Geraldine “Gerry” Beyer at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Stetsonville on August 6, 1949. His employment included owning and operating a dairy farm, serving as the town constable and as a maintenance worker for the Village of Dorchester, for Brandner Meat Market, as an escort driver for mobile homes and owning his own trucking business. Norb was instrumental in starting the Dorchester Days State Tractor Pulls. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and a volunteer for the Dorchester Fire Department. His hobbies included riding his horse “Mac” in his youngers years, tinkering in his garage, yard work, driving truck, camping, gardening and driving around on his Gator.
